Extension of #Fam loan spell

Extension of #Fam loan spell

Rovers have agreed to let Sheffield Wednesday keep striker Leon Best until the end of the season, after sanctioning the extension of his loan spell.

Leon has been on loan at Hillsborough for a month, having been frozen out of action at his parent club Blackburn - and with the striker bleeding the club dry for doing very little, the continuation of his stay in South Yorkshire seemed like the best solution for all.

The player will now stay at Wednesday until the 3rd of May, with the striker and genuine Drake lookalike having netted one goal for his loan club so far.
