Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked you "Player of the Month for September?" You voted in favour of David Bentley.
Having won the Midfielder of the Month poll by some way (with 68% of the final vote) David Bentley, having finished last months Player of the Month poll as runner-up behind Brett Emerton has claimed the accolade this time for Player of the Month for September with 36%.
With 20%, despite the events of the past few days Lucas Neill, quite rightly if being judged purely on what he did on the field in September finished as runner-up, closely followed by Benni McCarthy with 19%, who finished in third place with last months winner, Brett Emerton finishing a close fourth with 18%.
Robbie Savage ended with 4% and Shabani Nonda the final 3% of the votes.
Bentley, who arrived at Ewood Park, initially on loan with a huge reputation started to see this undoubted potential begin to be recognised last season, with his hat trick against Manchester United the real highlight of that season. This season however the England U21 International is fully starting to live up to his hype, much to Rovers' benefit.
So in summary
Brett Emerton - 18%
Lucas Neill - 20%
David Bentley - 36%
Robbie Savage - 4%
Benni McCarthy - 19%
Shabani Nonda - 3%
With the Rovers player of the month for September over, and David Bentley rightly being crowned, the current poll, looking for Septembers goal of the month is asking, "What was Septembers top Goal?"
As for what you think, cast your vote, and why not have your say on the latest polls findings...
