Details for UEFA tie announced

Blackburn Rovers have announced the details of their opening UEFA Cup Group E clash with Wisla Krakow.

The match in Wisla's Reymonta Stadion in Poland on Thursday 19th October will kick-off at 15:45 (our time.)

If you can't travel, as many of you will be unable to, should you not be working or whatever you do during the day, the game is also being shown Live on Channel Five.

Without sounding ungrateful or disrespectful to Eurosport who covered Rovers' last UEFA Cup game when others overlooked it, and who also took the time and effort to contact me direct to inform me that they were showing the game Live, coverage on Channel Five may be more to some viewers preference?

There are roughly 1,000 tickets available for travelling Rovers fans, with the club again laying on an official travel package. For more details of this, and ticket information in general visit the official Blackburn Rovers website by clicking here.

It's a game against an unknown quantity, trips to Poland are never easy for clubs or national teams so this will be no exception.
