Blackburn Rovers top of the League!

Blackburn Rovers topped the League in September...

...unfortunately this League wasn't the Premiership though, although it's only a five point gap now!

With 130 articles posted on the Vital Blackburn Rovers website it finished top of the pile for articles submitted by Vital Football Premiership clubs in September. We just managed to pip Vital Aston Villa who came in a close second with 128 articles.

Only Vital Bournemouth, with a staggering 183 and Vital Nottingham Forest with 132 would better Vital Blackburn in the whole of the Vital Football network for articles posted. Thanks to everyone who played their part with their articles submitted and comments posted which would inspire some of my articles.

It's not all about quantity though, it is also quality which I would like to think in the most part is all that is being the case with articles produced and posted here on Vital Blackburn Rovers, so both areas are hopefully being covered.

I will be aiming to maintain, if not better these standards, so with James' help in particular, and your help, with you submitting articles, polls and continuing to post your comments we can make Vital Blackburn Rovers the best Rovers fans site out there, increasing our membership numbers, which stood at 84 last week, which is a massive increase from the 29 here when I took over in August.

Thanks very much dazednconfuzed, much appreciated. Always nice ot know work is appreciated. Although articles are aimed primarily at Rovers fans they are also written in a way to appeal to others. So thanks again.

no problems at all ... I like reading articles at as many clubs as possible , thats what I like about this site the best is the accessability to other clubs news , it is like a big family of football which involves everyone , not just the people at your own club
dazednconfuzed
Well if you come across any Rovers fans you know where to send them, here and Vital Football in general. Very true dazednconfuzed. It's a shame that some people have to use the site as a means of abuse though isn't it. True you have rivalry but some of it is way over the top.

I have to say that the articles are very well written on this site, as I have told Hughes Da, there's not too many Blackburn fans were I live so its a change to be able to talk about them as a club in there own rite, where I live its all the 'big' clubs like 'pool, Utd and Arsenal. I glad i've said something of some use on here to allow some of the quality articles to be written. Cheers lads
Clint
Thanks Clint! You've said plenty of things Clint, more articles will be added thanks to your comments in the future.

yes they are very well writen and full of facts gj!
marshinrover
Thanks marshinrover once again. Sometimes you have to go by what you find on the internet etc on other stories but rather than just follow their lead I beef them up by putting a personal touch into the article, put in some facts and figures and stats etc. Anyone can simply copy an paste a large quote from an article, but I want more than just that, I want something in between to keep your attention and entertain you all, which I think I am doing, without sounding big headed.
