'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rovers fans rightly shown Equality

With discrimination of any kind something that people wish to eradicate, and rightly so, not only in football, but life in general, Blackburn Rovers Football Club are continuing to play their part.

With Ewood Park already one of the best equipped grounds in the country for its disabled facilities, having teamed up with the charity Scope to help kick disability discrimination out of football, facilities have been improved still further. Chairman of the Disabled Supporters' Club Guy Wignall said:

"We are proud to be associated with Blackburn Rovers, not just because of the football, but the club's attitude to equality."

These comments would be made, not only as a result of the attitude and facilities already in place but also thanks to the addition of better access to the Blues Bar thanks to the newly-lowered bar area.

Everyone should be treated equally; within the football community is no exception so Rovers fans can be proud to be associated with a club so in tune with the needs of everyone, and rightly so.

We are all equal, and should be treated as such and should all be given equal oppitunties, within or outside of football, so this is great to hear. As I said in the article Rovers fans should be proud.
