You think Ooijer with Henchoz

Vital Blackburn's most recent Poll asked you "You voted Henchoz should come in, but who should he be paired with?" Andre Ooijer is the man for most of you.

Having endured a turbulent start to his Rovers career Dutchman Andre Ooijer has started to show signs in the last couple of games that he really does have the quality he is meant to have, the sort of quality that made Mark Hughes pay £2.1 million to bring the 32-year-old to Ewood Park last month.

Given the choice of breaking up the current of Andre Ooijer and Zurab Khizinashvilli partnership to accommodate Stephane Henchoz 76% would rather see Zurab drop out with Henchoz partnering Dutch International Ooijer.

A mere 10% would rather see Ooijer removed with Zurab partnering the experienced Swiss International in a new look Rovers central defensive partnering.

However 14% would prefer to see Henchoz in the side with a different partner all together, maybe with Andy Todd, Dominic Matteo, Aaron Mokoena or the highly rated Eddie Nolan?

Only Mark Hughes knows what is the best partnership, but one thing we do know for sure is this best partnership would have The Admiral Ryan Nelsen as one half of it as soon as he is fit enough to return!

So in summary
Andre Ooijer - 76%
Zurab Khizinashvilli - 10%
…or even a different option - 14%

The current poll, with Rovers' UEFA Cup fate being decided on Thursday night is asking, "Will Rovers see off Salzburg in UEFA Cup on Thursday?"

As for what you think, cast your vote, and why not have your say on the latest polls findings...

Hi Da Man i was just wondering what went wrong with the profile and why did u say that it was not wriiten in a good and professional way ?? i just want to know in curiosity no hard feelings .
Roversguy
Roversguy, you misunderstand again! I NEVER said it was not written in a good and professional way, it was fine, if not I wouldn't have used it. I merely said "The profile which may not always flow smoothly (THIS DOESN'T MEAN I DON'T THINK IT IS UNPROFESSIONAL), has been left almost identically to how it would be when sent to me is worth a look. When I say this I mean no disrespect at all to Roversguy, as it can't be easy for a person who's second language would naturally be English to have written the profile as he did." So all I meant was for a person who has English as their primary language (and always has as I have) it doesn't flow as it would had a person with English as a language always used had wirtten it. From your point of view, being written by someone who would have English as a second language, naturally due to being an Egyptian national it doesn't quite flow the same. I have in no way had a go at you, or mocked you, I merely pointed this out to highlight to others in case they might!

i think ooijer and hechoz will answer our defensive problems when they both settle and gt into form
marshinrover
Ooijer is getting there, and when fit, despite arguably having his best days behind him Henchoz would also do a job.
Hughes Da Man
I think Ooijer and Zura is our best current central parting and even when Stephane is fully fit. Zura is a great reader of the game at such a young age. If anyone had to be dropped I would go for Ooijer but he has been impressive in the last couple of games.
roversman
They joys of being a Premiership manager roversman, rather Sparky than me!
Hughes Da Man
i think it should be Zurab and Oojier as well, Henchoz is good but is only cover I think it would affect the confidence of any of the other two to be dropped for him. He should be used to cover injuries not to replace someone. He will do a job but!!
