'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Here comes the Cavalry!

With a rush of games and a handy little FA Cup run to go with, Blackburn Rovers will be buoyed by the timely return of Leon Best, Adam Henley and Dickson Etuhu.

A summer 3 million pound signing, Leon Best unfortunately managed to damage his anterior cruciate ligament in a pre season friendly, with recover taking longer than initially projected. Best will feature alongside Dickson Etuhu and Adam Henley, both returning from injury in a Under 21's fixture against Sunderland tonight.

Fabio Nunes and Josh Morris have also shaken off niggles, with the squad players now hoping to make a claim for a First Team Birth.

The more depth the better! Wonder how Appy will use Best when fully fit

Essential that we get some extra bodies in - we've got a decent squad but three or four extras like Best, Henley and Etuhu will give us flexibility.
Mikey Delap
We must be careful not to use Best too soon. With Rhodes, Campbell and CKR all available to play up top, as well as Nuno Gomes and Goodwillie, we are not in dire need to force him back too soon. Having said that, it will be great to add him to our firepower.
Joe Ainscough
Can't see Etuhu breaking into the first team, with Lowe, Murphy and it seems Williamson all ahead of him.
Joe Ainscough
Henley should provide decent competition for Orr, and the same with Nunes on the left, I personally see him as being better than Markus.
Joe Ainscough
What about that defensive kid from City and Bentley ? Are they directly going to be in tomorrow'S Bench - hence not being risked today ?
