Williamson in for Brighton test

Williamson in for Brighton test

Rovers face Brighton tonight with an extra face added to the squad.

New signing Lee Williamson has been added to the match day squad after missing out on Saturday's 1-0 win over Ipswich with a illness.

But Williamson has now been cleared and his versatility will likely give boss Michael Appleton another option ahead of a crunch tie with Brighton sitting one place ahead of Blackburn in the table.

A decision will be made today on DJ Campbell's participation with the striker currently suffering from a family problem, which may hinder his involvement tonight.

But other than that it is as you were with Adam Henley, David Dunn and Dickson Etuhu all still unable to play.

Appleton will choose from - Kean, Orr, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Pedersen, Lowe, Murphy, Markus Olsson, Kazim-Richards, Rhodes, Usai, Givet, Fabio Nunes, DJ Campbell, Williamson, Nuno Gomes, Morris, Goodwillie.

Will be interesting to see how he gets on - previosu suggests he won't find the league easy but App seems to rate him.
