Rovers set to appoint Moore

Rovers set to appoint Moore

Rovers are set to announce in due course that Darren Moore, former West Brom player and current youth coach is the club's new first team coach.

Moore has been working since last summer with developing the Baggies Academy side but has expressed a desire to climb the coaching ladder since entering the non-playing aspect of football.

Blackburn boss Michael Appleton has links with West Brom after working as a number 2 there under Roy Hodgson (who is of course ironically a former Rovers boss) and has used those contacts in an attempt to bolster the coaching set up at Ewood Park.

Expect an announcement in due course.

Seems to be getting some rave reviews (of his character) from colleagues etc. If he's half as good at his job then we're in business.
