Rovers get King for a day... and a bit longer

The expected arrival of Joshua King has been announced within the last hour after terms were agreed on an initial loan deal that will run till January.

It is understood that there is an option to make the deal permanent if both sides agree with Berg using his old Manchester United links to bolster the club's ranks. King is a 20 year full Norwegian international and can operate both on the wing and up front.

With Berg's known preference for pacey players it is no shock he is an admirer of his fellow countryman who has impressed on loan at Hull and in the United Reserves with his lightning quick sprint speed.

Welcome to Blackburn, Joshua King.

Nice to see us replenish the ranks, bit of help for Jordan wouldn't go a miss!
