Vital Blackburn Player of the Month

Vital Blackburn Player of the Month

Another new feature, following the launch of Vital Blackburn Rovers Goal of the Month will see you given the opportunity to vote for the Vital Blackburn Rovers Player of the Month.

For this I will do poll breakdowns of the positions. The first week of a new month will see a week of voting for your player of the month for the month just ended. This is how it will work:

Sunday and Monday you will be voting for Goalkeepers/Defenders
Tuesday and Wednesday you will be voting for Midfielders
Thursday and Friday you will be voting for Forwards

The two players with the most votes in each field will then be put into the overall poll to determine who you, the Vital Blackburn members feel deserves to win the Vital Blackburn Rovers Player of the Month Award (POTM) for each month.

The voting for August's Player of the Month will begin on Sunday, so a little later than planed, but better late than never.

Despite this feature appearing elsewhere on Vital Football a Player of the Month feature was always something that I planned, along with the other new feature Vital Blackburn Rovers Goal of the Month. I hope both features are liked and you will all get involved.

I think both ideas are excellent opportunities to enhance fan interaction.

Agreed. These are definitely the types of things to get fans hitting your site on a regular basis. I hope we do the same soon.

Thanks guys they seem good ideas in theory so hopefully they'll do well, and attract even more viewers. Interaction is the key, Vital Blackburn like other fan based sites are the true voice of the club, the next step from the official site so we have to make our vioices heard.
