Rovers Return For Tugay

Having missed the opening three Blackburn Rovers games of the season through suspension Mark Hughes will have Tugay available again for the weekend game.

Following his sending off in the final game of the 2005/2006 Premiership season against Newcastle United the 36-year-old came through last weeks reserve encounter with Manchester United (in which new arrival Francis Jeffers saw red himself) so could now feature in Rovers' clash with Sheffield United on Saturday.

The former Turkish International midfielder has very much been missed in my opinion. Although we have Robbie Savage, veteran Tugay has that enforcer quality where he will happily sit where he is, rarely being caught out of position.

He may have to settle for a place on the bench on Saturday but I for one would not be surprised to see him return straight to the starting eleven for a game Rovers very much need; and many will even expect them to win.
