Rovers clarify manager progress

Rovers have this evening clarified their manager search position with a shortlist now confirmed as drawn up as promised.

A 'hit squad' has been at work today finalising their chosen options which includes Global Advisor Shebby Singh, managing director Derek Shaw and somehow promoted useless PR merchant Paul Agnew.

Shebby Singh told the official website - "We are all very pleased with the calibre of candidates and there are a number of strong avenues that we wish to explore. However, we must appeal for patience and calm among supporters while the right decision is reached.

"Derek, Paul and I, in close liaison with the owners, are working hard to make sure we get the right man and while we don`t want it to take any longer than is necessary, we won`t be rushed. This is a big, big decision."

Big, big decision. Agree with you there Shebby and from the owners point of view one they HAVE to get right.
