Shortlist day
Shebby Singh and the gang at Ewood Park are set to make the manager search a little bit more interesting by finalising a shortlist for the vacant managerial position.
No word on who will be present on the list but a progression in the managerial search will be welcome news for the club's fans who have spent the best part of two weeks subjected to constant media drivel about who and who may not be considered for the role.
Interest in the job has been registered by various names from across the country and the odd name from Europe including Paul Dickov, Alan Shearer, Javier Clemente, Bernd Schuster and Giovanni Trapattoni (who despite his protests HAS made contact with the club).
But with the international break up and running things are finally ready to intensify.
The pressure is on Team Venky's, you have to get this right.

I live in hope that they'll get someone who do two things: get Rovers promoted and bring back some credibility to the club. There are people who have managed in the Championship and proved they they can do the job. The Premiership might be beyond them but we're not there yet!
