Shortlist day

Shortlist day

Shebby Singh and the gang at Ewood Park are set to make the manager search a little bit more interesting by finalising a shortlist for the vacant managerial position.

No word on who will be present on the list but a progression in the managerial search will be welcome news for the club's fans who have spent the best part of two weeks subjected to constant media drivel about who and who may not be considered for the role.

Interest in the job has been registered by various names from across the country and the odd name from Europe including Paul Dickov, Alan Shearer, Javier Clemente, Bernd Schuster and Giovanni Trapattoni (who despite his protests HAS made contact with the club).

But with the international break up and running things are finally ready to intensify.

The pressure is on Team Venky's, you have to get this right.

Massive, massive decision. Get this one wrong and the club will spiral downwards. Fans will leave in droves, income streams will be decimated and administration will be a real possibility.

No offence meant towards the young lad but if Jordan Ali is on the shortlist; I think we all know who the new manager will be.
