Leon Best on the Mend

A cruciate ligament injury which has prevented Leon Best from kicking a ball in anger has been recovering, 'as to plan' according to caretaker manager, Mr Eric Black.

According to Sky Sports News, Leon Best is not expected to return until after the New Years Break, with his progress due to his exceptional effort throughout his rehabilitation. The Blackburn back-room staff are not rushing him though, and will give him every opportunity to recover successfully before returning to first team duties.

Leon Best, a major pre-season signing for Rovers impressed throughout intial pre-season fixtures, however was struck with the horrible knee injury not to long before the start of the Championship season

Good to see the big man is on the mend!

Agreed here, he has the potential to be epic in the Champ. Will be a much needed presence when he's back.
