Kuqi Heads Through Ewood Exit

Having slipped down the pecking order Finnish striker Shefki Kuqi has decided his future lies away from Rovers and has signed for Crystal Palace.

The 29-year-old Finland International, signed from Ipswich Town in 2005 following 20 goals in the Championship during the 2004/2005 season has signed for an undisclosed fee on a three-year contract, signing just seconds before the transfer window closed.

Despite the summer departures of Craig Bellamy and Paul Dickov "The Flying Kuqi" had been pushed down the list of striking options again following the arrivals of Jason Roberts, Francis Jeffers and Benni McCarthy, and a move away from Ewood had seemed likely all summer. The arrival of Shabani Nonda would have only pushed him down further.

I liked the big man, always willing although i did not believe he had the smarts for the Premiership, not to say i thought he was stupid, not at all but you have to have something else apart from size to make it, ask Heskey!!
Clint
Thought he started performing for you near the end of the season so definetely bringing in jeffers ahead of him surprised me. Has one of the best celebrations as well!
Tierney
HE'LL BE MISSED FOR SURE, HE HAD THAT SOMETHING DIFFIRENT ABOUT HIM.
