Ken Beamish retires

Blackburn Rovers have lost one of their longest serving members of staff after it was announced that Ken Beamish is to retire from his post as commercial manager with immediate effect.

Ken, a very likeable guy who has always been a success in his role, started at Rovers back in 1986 and has held the same position for 26 years.

Mr Beamish has taken the decision and leaves the club after a long and happy service at the helm.

Best wishes for the future and thank you for everything Ken.

The Rovers site has said that Ken has took the decision to retire and that will be today, the last day of the month. The inclusion of 'immediate effect' in the article is inflammetary and not needed. Cryer is the same just trying to inflame a genuine story into another Rovers' bashing story.

Not sure this is entirely amicable myself but that would just be speculation so pointless trying to pass that off as fact. Thanks for your hard work Ken.
