Rovers have Rhodes bid accepted

Blackburn Rovers have this evening had a bid for Huddersfield's Jordan Rhodes accepted as they finally look to have landed their main striking target.

No details as yet to the magic figure but it is believed to be a deal that climbs to £8m including add ons.

More details as we get it.

Its a done deal.

Great signing. My only genuine fear is that Steve manages to stifle his abundant talent.

Great news, finally the owners have put their money up. To be honest I suspect that if it had been my money, I would also have taken some time to come round to spending so much, on a player who did score a lot of goals last season but in a lower division. Hope our players are able to give him the service he requires,

One thing I would say is... no way Kean stays if he can't perform with a club that is relatively as good for the Champ as this one.

You have certainly spent big on strikers. If you don't go up you are gonna be left with a big financial headache- especially with sub 14k crowds. Best, Kazim Richards and Rhodes. Not sure about K-R but the other 2 are not good enough for the prem - especially Rhodes. Still good luck - i like Kean.
