Rovers Loan Move For Nonda?

A striker would have been fairly low on the list of priorities of positions most would have wanted strengthening but it looks as though Shabani Nonda could join Rovers on loan.

Skysports.com are reporting that the Democratic Republic of Congo International striker could be arriving at Ewood from Italian outfit Roma in a loan deal for the remainder of the season.

Despite having recently lost one striker in Mido to Tottenham it seems as though Nonda, who has already moved down the pecking order with Roma, could be allowed to move on also.

The 29-year-old is due to arrive in Lancashire today for a medical and should tie up the lose ends for the loan ahead of a possible permanent move in the summer.

This a player that everyone wnted b4, as usual an itlaian club got him and wasted his talents, ala Mido, Vogel etc. He was being linked with every big club in Europe b4 this, should be a great signing!! think this means the end for Kuqi though as we will now have Jeffers as 4 choice
Clint
VERY TRUE CLINT! HUGHES HAS ADMITED THAT THERE IS INTEREST IN KUQI, BUT HE DIDN'T WANT HIM TO LEAVE. BUT IF NONDA ARRIVES THEN I THINK HE WILL BE GONE BEFORE MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.
Hughes Da Man
Now can he deliver in the Premiership?
