Uncle Jack - We'll Never Forget

What better way to start the morning than by paying tribute to our greatest ever supporter - Uncle Jack Walker - who sadly lost his life on this very day 12 years ago.

Thanks to Jack and his vision of taking Blackburn Rovers to the big time we were provided with memories that will last longer than a lifetime which as fans we are unlikely to see ever again.

Often you see today's big spending multi-millionaire owners compared with Jack but the truth is that they couldn't hold a candle to Jack Walker.

Rather than just pushing money into a football club Jack did it because it was his team, his area and a passion that goes way beyond having a club as a plaything.

It was his dream and one we all revelled in and shared together.

RIP Uncle Jack Walker, long gone but never forgotten.

Thank you so much, love you always and never a day goes by where we don't miss you.
