Blackman becomes a Blade

Blackman becomes a Blade

Rovers striker Nick Blackman has joined League One side Sheffield United on a two year deal.

Blackman has struggled to nail down a starting spot at Ewood Park after arriving with promise three years ago and after a fairly steady string of loan spells that has taken in Blackpool and Motherwell before a failed push towards the first team last season it has been deemed in the player's best interests that he has a fresh start.

The fee is believed to be nominal, best of luck to Nick with his fresh start.
