'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Etuhu's a happy chappy

New Rovers player Dickson Etuhu has proclaimed his delight at making the move to Ewood Park.

Etuhu has linked up with former running buddy Danny Murphy at Rovers and after a season of frustration and limited action at Craven Cottage the chance of more regular on-field activity clearly appealed to Dickson who has been given the vision of what to expect at Rovers this season.

Etuhu told the East Anglian Daily Times - 'This is exciting to me, coming to a big club like this in the Championship, there are some quality players so I thought it would be good to be part of that.

'I spoke to the manager, he told me his plans of how he wants to play and the direction he wants to take the club.

'Once I heard of the ambition that the club has it was a no-brainer for me.'

So Dickson been told how the manager wants him to play? With limited-no defence? Exciting stuff hey?
