Etuhu is a Rover

Etuhu is a Rover

Rovers have completed the signing of Dickson Etuhu to further bolster the midfield options at the club.

Dickson, 30, has signed a four year deal at Ewood Park to re-join his old midfield and Fulham running buddy Danny Murphy who made the same move earlier in pre-season.

The fee is believed to be around the £1.5m mark and manager Steve Kean has got his seventh signing of the summer on board. He was understandably delighted to bag another Premier League player for a crack at the Championship.

The Rovers boss told the official site - 'Dickson is a player I have admired for a long time and he will be a fantastic addition to the squad.

'He is a powerhouse in midfield, who has played at the highest level with Fulham and we feel confident he will complement our other midfield options.'

Good move for me. Will know how to work alongside Murphy and frees NZonzi to go elsewhere. But could we please sign a defender next?

Blackburn Confirm Caddis Arrival

Caddis, who left Bury at the end of a short deal, was given his chance due to his previous with Blackburn boss Mowbray at Celtic. But the ex-Birmingham full back has secured a deal.

Samuel Signing Sealed

Blackburn have signed Reading forward Dominic Samuel, who once worked with Mowbray at Coventry - also loaned to Colchester, Dagenham and Gillingham, ending last season at Ipswich.

Just Saying, But What If....

Blackburn will do well under the boss. However, for arguments sake, if Rovers didn't secure an instant Championship return what would happen to Mowbray?

Caddis At The Double

Caddis has now spent the past three weeks with Blackburn, joining the club in Austria last week, and Mowbray, his boss at Celtic earlier in his career, is close to making his decision.
