Gomaa Begins Trial

As EXCLUSIVELY revealed to you last week Wael Gomaa could soon be joining Rovers.

The Egyptian International, 30, who arrived on Sunday for a trial has been given permission by current club Al Ahli to sign for Rovers. Gomaa is currently training with them as he attempts to win a contract with the club ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline.

Meanwhile Egyptian International teammate Amr Zaki is also being linked with a move to Ewood. The Zamalek forward is said to be keen on a move to England with Rovers and Manchester City both reportedly keen. A reported £2 million bid already placed and rejected for the player, from whom I don't know.

with Todd wanting to leave, Gomaa and the Ghanian ( also on trial ) would be good signings, i have heard good things about both players now and Todd leaving would not be too hard to handle, as long as we kept Nelsen was the important thing ( new captain there!! ), signing the two on trial would also mean that Zurab could revert back to riteback as thats where he is better and more comfortable looking

RTHE GHANAIAN HAS APPARENTLY GONE NOW, DON'T THINK HE WAS QUITE WHAT HUGHES WAS AFTER. IF TODD WON'T FIGHT FOR HIS PLACE GET RID OF HIM, YOU DON'T NEED PEOPLE LIKE THAT AROUND.
