Move For Mills Still Possible

Danny Mills, who despite a late substitute appearance for Manchester City at the weekend still appears to have no future at the club, could still become a Rovers player before the window closes.

Reports over the weekend claimed a deal was close. However although this is not the case it could still happen. Speaking to the Lancashire Evening Telegraph Chairman John Williams said:

"That's one that was put to Mark as a possibility but we haven't pursued it as yet."

With options open to Hughes, and other potential defensive options available he may decide to look to strengthen the squad in other areas instead of moving for the former England International.

Mills would be a handy player to add to the club, he has interenational experience, not a lot to be honest but still... I think it would be good to put the wind up Neill, just to show him that the club has options. I hope that Todd leaves, he's good but a liabilty at times, something Blackburn do not need as Hughes already have a number of what u would call "committed" players

YOU DON'T WANT PLAYERS AROUND THAT WANT TO LEAVE THE MINUTE THEY ARE DROPPED DO YOU, IF HE WON'T FIGHT FOR HIS PLACE THEN HE SHOULD GO. MILLS WOULDN'T BE BAD, BUT I HAVE A FEELING NEILL WILL STAY NOW, BEING MADE CAPTAIN MUST MAKE HIM THINK DIFFIRENTLY?
