Dembele set for Rovers trial

Rovers are taking Freiburg striker Garra Dembele on trial as they have a look at boosting their striking options.

Dembele had a relatively poor season in front of goal in Germany last season but was a smash hit at Levski Sofia prior to that smashing in 26 goals in one season, his availability has alerted Rovers who are preparing for life after the prolific Yakubu.

And with Nuno Gomes and Leon Best already at the club we could be looking at a third incoming striker in the space of a month if Garra impresses...

Nice to see we're still looking to replenish - wouldn't mind some news on a midfielder and a defender though!

Why all the srikers though? We have plenty of them (Best, Goodwille, Rochina, Gomez et al). What we don't have is decent midfielders and defenders, but I don't see the billiard ball chasing any of them which worries me even more...

Lol but we only had the might YAK no one else, this season we gonna have LOADS by the looks of things. gunna play 3 3 4 formation i think. Play all 4 strikers at the same time !!
