Rovers Goalkeeper in need of some help

Rovers Goalkeeper in need of some help

Talented young goalkeeper Krystal Parker has found herself at risk of not being able to play for Blackburn Rovers next season.

Miss Parker is in need of Sponsorship for extra costs incurred to the tune of £400. The ladies side need to cover their own travelling and training kit and as yet Miss Parker has not found an organisation willing to fund.

As a result Krystal faces being unable to start the season or even having to leave Rovers to find another club, she has been with Rovers since 2008 and is now a Northern Ireland international.

Whilst the men's game enjoys riches that most of us could only dream of the ladies game occasionally finds itself in situations like the one Krystal finds herself in.

If you feel you can help please contact the club via the Rovers official site or via their twitter account @RoversLadies.

surely some of the senior male players could see them selfs able to offer £400 or probably fund the entire female team from one weeks wage....

I'm finding it hard to take this seriously if i'm being honest. Wakko is spot on, if the club won't pay it then 400 sheets is small change for the senior players. Somebody give Bruno Ribeiro a bell, while he's pinching a living she could use his bus pass and training gear...problem solved ;-)

Its a good shout wakko, see if u can tweet this link to them, would be nice to see a senior player fork some pocket money to help out. Granted 400 is alot of money to the avarege folk but when ur on 10k p/w plus its spare change tbf
