Interest growing in Rovers players

Well with all the incomings we had to expect the turnstile to turn the other way at some point.

And the gate is slowly starting to swing with several clubs eyeing up Rovers Premier League exiles.

It will become clear over the course of the next week or so which of the current crop of players are keen on a move but the more obvious potential 'exiters' are starting to attract a few glances.

Paul Robinson's move to Beskitas has stalled for one reason or another and as a result the Premier League have stepped in the shape of Fulham who are keen on a keeper who would cost around £1 million for his services.

Elsewhere, want away Martin Olsson is being tracked by both Juventus and Stoke City (yes I know, quite the contrast hey?) but there have been casual enquiries from two other Premier League clubs as well - Chelsea rumoured to be on.

Some seem reluctant to cough up Rovers £4m asking price which is just absurd for a player who is proven in England and also versatile. Add into this that we live in a world where the likes of Wolves Matt Jarvis is being quoted at £10m.

Mauro Formica is also still keen to move away having struggled to settle in England. Trabzonspor, Olympiakos and Newell's Old Boys are all credited with wanting him, again it's a question of money. Rovers are reported to want about £3m for him.

Tin hats on ladies and gentlemen.

Honestly, I don't think we'll miss any of those too much. Bunn is a good goalie, and given a regular run in the team can be as good as, if not better than, Robinson. Olsson is a fantastic winger, but crap at LB and we have an over abundance of players who can play on the wing. Formica is a player I like very much, a little work horse and quite skilful, but again we have enough players who can do the same job that he does. If we only lose the above, and Hoilett, I'll be happy enough.

basically what I was thinking rfb accept Formica annoys me, messes up far to much so I won't miss him at all

Personally the member of staff I desperately want to see leave is the poison called manager. As for signing up Braveheart try reading Colin Hendry's lies website and make up your own mind on Keans calibre of appointment.

Losses of Robbo, Ollsen and the Zonz can easily be covered if we get Silva, a ST, CB and a LB...my choices would be Mackie (small and pacey), Williamson (maybe surplus to requirement at NUFC) and Warnock!! Only my opinion but we'd be strong with those..prem experience and realistic!!
