Rovers aiming to bring in two more

Rovers have been busy bodies in the transfer market for the first time in what feels like forever.

With Danny Murphy in the bag and Leon Best/Dan Gosling on the horizon we've also been looking further forward in the form of two foreign imports.

The club are aiming to bring in Portugese midfielder Adrien Silva (who's been on loan at Academica from Sporting) and Fabio Nunes who is a relatively unknown forward, again Portugese.

No words on transfer fees etc as yet but attempts are being made to get them on board... Silva in particular is, shock of all horrors, actually quite good.

These are the latest attempts by the club to reshape ahead of the Championship.

Couple of younger players hopefully to offset the likes of Danny Murphy coming in.

Very much a fan of Adrien Silva. I mentioned him last year as someone I thought we should be trying to get, so I am glad we are trying now. Adrien would cost around £4m-£5m though, so unless Venky's plan on spending some "proper" money, I'd be surprised if the move for him is any more than just a loan.

I'll believe it when I see it and that includes Best and Gosling!

is Nunes a winger or striker?
