Rovers bag Murphy

Rovers have completed their surprise swoop for Fulham midfielder Danny Murphy.

Murphy has signed a two year deal at Ewood Park and becomes the clubs first summer signing after relegation to the Championship.

Despite interest from a few Premier League clubs, including QPR, Murphy has made the move back to the North West which is where he started his career at Crewe.

There is no fee involved in the transfer as Murphy was out of contract at Craven Cottage.

Welcome to Ewood Park Danny.

fantastic first signing, first of many to come!

Great signing, not quite sure how we've managed to pull this off though if i'm honest. Hopefully this means more to come and also gives us a better chance of convincing some players like the Yak, Givet and Olsson to stay.
