VB Awards - Most Improved Player of the Season

VB Awards - Most Improved Player of the Season

Here at Vital Blackburn we've been voting on numerous awards to cap what has been a fairly disastrous season for the blue and white halves of Rovers.

The votes were cast through the course of last week and winners were decided on a majority basis.

The next award to be voted on was the most improved player of the season.

A few mentions were made of players who had made the step up from youth to first team action with both Jason Lowe and Adam Henley making a few shouts but the winner was pretty unanimous given his rise over the last 8 months.

The winner of the VB Most Improved Player of the Season goes to - Grant Hanley.

Starting the season as something of a running joke given his mistake laden displays and nervous behaviour Grant made a massive u-turn around the New Year period and went from one of the worst players in the side to one of the best.

He's even been linked with Manchester United and Liverpool. Which is quite the improvement.

Well done Grant.

Will be something of a good thing to hang onto Grant for next season.
