VB Awards - Worst Moment of the Season

Here at Vital Blackburn we've been voting on numerous awards to cap what has been a fairly disastrous season for the blue and white halves of Rovers.

The votes were cast through the course of last week and winners were decided on a majority basis.

The next award voted for was the 'worst moment of the season' and as you might suspect there were a fair few suggestions as to the winner of this category.

'Every second of Steve Kean's reign so far', 'The positives taken from every interview' and the 3-2 defeat at home to Liverpool all made a selection but there was a fairly decisive winner.

The winner of the worst moment of the season is... relegation.

Pissing it down with rain and the lack of spirit shown really summed up the campaign as we slumped to a 1-0 defeat at home to Wigan Athletic which sealed our descent into the Championship.

An infamous night and one we'd rather all forget... but won't.

close second for me is the Yak high fiving Kean running up the side line after one of his hattrick goals. Mrs D said this was the moment she knew the players were behind steve and that there was terrific team spirit...
