The curious case of Steven Kean continues

The absolutely appalling communication at Blackburn Rovers continues with no-one really 100% sure what the future of unpopular boss Steve Kean holds.

Some papers are reporting that he is keeping his job as manager, some are reporting he is to be moved to a new role on the same pay and some are reporting that he will leave his job.

This in turn has left me with no option but to perform some stunning sit on the fence journalism with noises coming out of Blackburn mixed and noises coming out of India barely reaching whispers.

The smart money is still on Kean being offered a position of influence away from the manager's hot seat which in effect would undermine the potential new manager before he's even sat down at his desk.

So the most likely scenario for Rovers future appears to be as follows -

We have a man being promoted who is a reasonable failure in his old role (Agnew), a manager who has been a colossal failure in his current role being offered something different on the same pay and owners confirming they have the common sense and awareness levels of roadkill.

Well done everyone.

If the guy has an ounce of integrity he should **** off. Since that youtube hit of his, I've lost all respect for weasel. I thought that maybe he was just the front for our inept owners, what with the contractual issues, sales of players, etc, which meant he couldn't field the best side. Now I just think he's a complete ****. He must being having carnal relations with that woman. Urgh.

What an awful mess. We are facing the demise of a great family club make no bones about it. If Kean stays whatever the role he is a huge liability as he has no credibility, integrity, ability or conscience. He - with the Venkys - has systematically dismantled Rovers and isn't fit to lace Sam Allardyce's boots. How ironic that Kean is bypassed by the guy he obscenely and vehemently abused. What a complete numpty!
