Coco the Clown - Update

The future of Steve Kean is still undecided to a certain degree after a second day of talks yielded no conclusive outcome.

The future of the unpopular Rovers manager has been up for debate over the last 48 hours yet no announcement over a clear outcome was made after a three hour meeting with Rovers owner Mrs Desai, her husband and Balaji Rao yesterday afternoon.

The only established fact to come from the talks is that Steve is STILL a Rovers employee but it is unclear whether there are plans to move him to a different role or just to keep him as manager (which has been a roaring success so far).

Despite a petition garnering nearly 5,000 signatures, a video released which has led to legal proceedings against Kean and a managerial record that makes Gary Megson look like Bill Shankly it seems to modus operandi still appears to be the most likely outcome from the latest discussions.

Add into this that most of the major players want Kean gone and you would think moves would be made in the best interests of the club.

Yet Mrs Desai stands firm and unmoved by the clear and overwhelming evidence against Kean.

I am not even sure God knows why.

How on earth did the Venky's make any money with their business acumen?

Something definately on the verge of happening regards Kean. Let's just hope Mrs Desai's backbone doesn't wobble.

seriously, she's an idiot. HOW has it taken 2 meetings to sack this giant muppet?
*Dave*
Didn't take them long to sack Paul Hunt after that email was leaked... so they can make a decision when they want to... obviously something is holding them back.

You guys have such short memories. Mrs Desai said he had a job for life.

Kean obviously has a strange hold over people given all the support he enjoyed during the season from most commentators and now from Mrs D. Does he have relatives in Naples by any chance?
