Zonz race is off and under way

The hunt for Steve N'Zonzi is well under way with a fairly substantial amount of clubs chasing him.

Zonz has been frozen out at Rovers under Steve Kean and is naturally (like a lot of the first team players) looking for a route back to the Premier League after Rovers dropped to the Championship.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton, Liverpool, Spurs, Sunderland and Fulham have all been credited with an interest in one of the few Rovers players that IS likely to attract a fairly large transfer fee given his age, ability and experience.

Given the size of the interest Steve is likely to fetch in the region of £7 million and given a better side to play in he would look vastly improved to the stroppy child we saw late on in his Rovers career.

Nailed on to leave the club this summer.

More money for the Venky's bank coming up!

Very good player, mishandled, disheartened, and a big loss for attracting any potential new manager. It will be a case of you don't know what you've got till its gone, for any fans who doubt his ability.

Gr8 player sorry to see you go but inevitable with kean and venkys in charge :(

Great player, kean totally mishandled our best midfielder. When Dunny was injured in the Wigan game bringing on olsson and not Nzonzi just about says it all about keans managerial skills, will be a great lose. will the sacking of kean ever happen????
