Kean set for big decision

Rovers manager Steve Kean will today learn his managerial fate after talks with Rovers owners Venky's yesterday.

Talks are to continue today after Kean was allowed to plead his corner and present a plan for Rovers future to Mrs Desai, her husband, Balaji and Venkatesh Rao in Pune yesterday.

There is pressure from a lot of directors at Ewood Park and also from senior members at Venky's to remove Kean from his position but the ultimate decision as always will lie with the Matriarch of the Rao family.

Kean himself remains confident of keeping his job (well he would wouldn't he) but this is as close as Rovers have come since Kean was appointed to the unpopular Scot's job being up for serious discussion.

Whatever happens, today's meeting will be taking place in a few hours time so hopefully we'll know something by the end of the day.

Looks like it may be a false alarm. It must come soon.

Oh come on, come on. What have they got to gain by keeping him on?

"However, he is thought to have walked away from talks with the Rao family with his position intact, according to Sportingintelligence.com." It seems Kean would stay on... hope this is just a false rumor for all Blackburn fans..
