Kean astounds every living human being

Kean astounds every living human being

Quite how anyone believes what he is saying is a mystery that even the best regional detectives in the world would struggle with.

But here we are, relegated, the club in crisis and with not much in the way of brightness appearing on the horizon and Steve Kean is STILL trying to cart out the propaganda.

Yesterday's press conference was a sight and sound to behold given the amount of verbal sewage spewing from his mouth.

He talked owners, he talked finances and he talked about himself and not once did he come out with something to appease the fans... and still, 3 days on and no sign of an apology for putting us through the ringer.

Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph - "Yes, 100 per cent.

"We have taken a massive step backward step but we have to look forward. I am sure we can get back at the first time of asking. The owners are not going anywhere, I am not going anywhere.

"Every time I have spoken to them they have told me categorically that they are in it for the long-term.

"They feel emotionally bonded with the club. They want to get the club back to the level it should be at - and beyond as soon as possible.

"It is changing time for the club. We have new owners, I am new into the job myself. We are moving forward and it is going to be a very exciting time for the club."

No questions were permitted with regards to the sacking of Paul Hunt but our very vocal manager did find time to discuss finances.

Finances have been an issue at Rovers for years but the Scot now believes Rovers are in a better position in the money department than in previous times.

Kean continued - "The club was in a financial position where I don`t think it was the most stable. Now we`re in a very stable financial position - what we`ve not got, we`ve not got premiership football

"I think this is really disappointing because we wanted to make sure at least we could take it to the last game and make a real good effort from it. But its not to be so we just need to move forward.

"I think there`s been challenging times - we`ve lost a lot of experienced players there`s been a total change within the club as far as what was in place for a number of years with the trust owning the club and lots of directors that have now since gone so it's a changing time.

"But what we`ve got to do now is look at where we are as a club and say 'we don`t belong here, we make sure from the 1st new player that comes into the building that it's a player that can move us in the right direction.

"I've had support from the owners every day. Up until the transfer window closed we talked on a regular basis but then when the transfer window closed we'd speak on the phone. They've supported me all the way through."

Of course they have, there isn't another person alive who buys this nonsense.

"we don't belong here", you got that right now why don't you all just jog on and let somebody run things properly.

Why would Kean leave? Just like McLeish at Villa, if he leaves he gets nothing. If he stays and gets sacked he will get £shedloads in compensation.

Good point teapot. No need for him to just up and leave. He might as well take the pay off - if Mrs Desai can stop buying his bull***** for two seconds!

His 18 month "freinds with benefits" relationship with Desai is all the payoff he needs. Possibly with an sti thrown in.

coming from a spurs fan blackburn do have a decent team your only problem this season was conceding goals. Kean I feel should never been appointed since he had no experience as a top tier manager and his signings for you were poor, relegation might help you like it did with newcastle, get rid of kean for someone like McCarthy and sign players like Rhodes and i expect you will ease to promotion next year

Championship Cost Per Goal So Far In 2016/17

The end of the Championship campaign of 2016/17 is only a month and a bit away from fans across the country but as we go in to the remaining weeks of the campaign...

Positive Signs For Bennett

Bennett was positive of Blackburn being able to see off Lancashire rivals Preston heading into this game at Ewood Park after the Norwich and Fulham results.

Minor Graham Setback

Blackburn had to do without Danny Graham against Preston following the groin problem that forced him off against Fulham last week. He could return against Brighton next week.

Hugely Frustrating

Mowbray admitted Blackburn didn't start the game well against Preston but had then been the dominant side so was 'majorly disappointed' not to record a victory.
