Reports : Paul Hunt Sacked

Reports : Paul Hunt Sacked

Reports coming out from all and sundry that Deputy Chief Executive Paul Hunt has been sacked by Venky's.

There has been no official announcement as of yet but it's even rocked up onto the Sky Sports ticker such is the strength of the rumour.

Hunt has been in his position since May last year and although enduring a rocky ride with accusations of arrogance and lack of care towards fans made himself a miniature hero yesterday after a leaked letter showed his plea to Venky's back in December.

Ultimately it seems the public knowledge of this letter has cost Hunt his job.

Either that or we're going to get a smashing club statement in due course.

This just gets better.

Given he seemed to be about the last person at Ewood who made any attempt at all to engage the fans, I think it's safe to say that we're completely cream crackered now. No CEO, no Deputy CEO, no hope, no future.

It looks to me that our 5 fingered friends at turd moor are right and it is just a matter of time before the club is wound up and a supermarket is built on Ewood. A very sad day, is there nothing we can do?
