Olssonator a doubt for crunch Pool clash

Rovers could be without the services of Martin Olsson for tomorrow's home game with Liverpool with the defender picking up a shoulder injury in the 3-0 loss to West Brom at the weekend.

Anthony Modeste is also unavailable after picking up a red card at the Hawthorns for trying to go all kung fu on Simon Cox as the game drew to a conclusion.

The good news is that Steve Kean has indicated that he may change things about a bit with the need for fresh optimism and dynamic nigh.

The Rovers manager has available to him (appearance fees and cynicism aside) - Robinson, Orr, Dann, Hanley, Martin Olsson, Lowe, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Hoilett, Dunn, Yakubu, Kean, Bunn, Givet, Formica, Petrovic, Rochina, Marcus Olsson, Goodwillie, Vukcevic, Henley.

After today's Bolton result the incentive has just become even more tantalising...

Sorry, I want to be optimistic or hopeful but we have a history of "rovers'll fix it". Whenever someone is struggling for goals or points - send em to Ewood. We offer a first rate service, just look at our testimonials: - "I thought I was never going to make it in the PL, I was close to leaving Man City until the blue n white heroes came along"- Edin Dzeko. I'm sure we gave Torres a goal while he was struggling at Liverpool. More to the point, I wanted to believe Kean could get us out of this but the performance and "off day" excuse against Brom has crushed me. Did we have off days Bolton (twice) and against WBA at home? I am well and truly depressed and expecting the drop but I will make one statement despite my feelings - I will be going as always tomorrow, and I will be renew my ST as long as BRFC exists. It is my opinion that those who don't cannot call themselves fans. Not going hurts only the team, not the owners.
Citizen Kean
We Liverpool fans still have awful memories of last season's trip to Ewood and I for one cannot quite believe things are almost as bad again this time around despite the change in management and players etc. Given your need for points and our cup semi at the weekend (expect Dalglish to field a weakened team), we're predicting a 2-2 over at VL.
