Rovers taking a look at Zenden

Rovers taking a look at Zenden

Former Chelsea, Liverpool and Middlesbrough player Bolo Zenden has been at Brockhall in an attempt to earn himself a deal with Blackburn Rovers.

The former Dutch international is a free agent and rolled up to the Rovers training ground to prove his fitness and it is believed the club are considering offering him a new deal.

With apparent 'contract problems' stopping Simon Vukcevic from playing much first team action this season it seems the opportunity to bring in a free agent who would cost nothing in the way of a transfer fee appeals.

At 35 years of age though... can the cultured play maker still roll?

either play x amount of games to get a pay rise or appearance fees at a guess.

Contract porblems for Vuckevic? He's only just signed! Can't say I've been overly impressed with him to date, but that's beside the point. It would be nice to think that our players are actually available for selection!
