Slew heads out on loan

Jordan Slew has sealed a loan move to League One side Stevenage Borough for the remainder of the season.

The 19-year-old has been a regular on the bench and in the reserves over the course of the season but as yet has failed to make a significant breakthrough at Ewood Park.

But with bags of potential that requires games Slew has made a temporary move to the league that currently inhabits Sheffield United, the club where Rovers signed Slew from.

Here's wishing he comes back a more developed player as Slew has got the game and the potential to play in the top league.

As a Sheffielder I have seen Slew prior to his Rovers move and he comes with a lot of (justified) hype. I hope he comes back and has a proper go next season.

I'm glad you said that Mikey. I read somewhere when we bought him, that we basically paid way over the odds for him. I actually think it was the Sheff chairman/owner who said it.
