Samba due back... finally

Rovers exile Chris Samba has been welcomed back into the fold after over a month in exile.

Samba has not been in action for the blue and white since the home game with Stoke right at the start of January after a very public spat with owners Venky's

But after a long period of being forced to train on his own and with the reserves a step has been taken in the right direction with Samba and Kean putting differences to one side to allow the big man to return.

The Daily Mail is reporting - 'Chris Samba could return to action for Blackburn this weekend after burying the hatchet with manager Steve Kean.

'The defender has not played for Rovers since January 2 after asking for a move in the January transfer window.

'Blackburn refused to sanction a move and Samba was fozen out and ordered to train with the reserves.

'But the 27-year-old was welcomed back into the fold on Monday as he joined members of the first team and reserve squads in being put through their paces by Kean and his assistant Eric Black at the club`s Brockhall HQ.'

It will be VERY interesting to see what sort of reaction Samba will get.

He'll be a great boon to have back despite his personal childishness!

I hope he gets a good reception even though he hasn't been as professionnal as we all would have liked so far, we all know he loves Blackburn Rovers and that's surely why he will play from now till the end of the season..

I'm really glad he's back, no matter how daft things have got recently. He's our best player and if we are to stand a chance of staying up we need him in the team, firing on all cylinders.

We need him more than he needs us.
