Yakubu happy at Ewood!

With the QPR revolution in full motion, Yakubu was seen as a target to guide the Rangers out and away from the relegation zone. However, after a superb start to his Ewood career, Yakubu was quick to shut down any rumours, discussing his delight at how everything is panning out since his move from Everton.

After joining on a 3 year contract, The Yak has banged in the goals, alerting other clubs. However a move away has never been on his mind. Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, Yakubu means business at Ewood Park.

'I don`t want to move any more. I am happy here so I didn`t go....Blackburn gave me the opportunity to play in the Premier League again so for me to just go and want to leave, I don`t want to do that.'

This will bring delight to the Ewood Faithful who are struggling with the loss of Ryan Nelsen, as well as the running saga between the club and Chris Samba.

Good to see some still appreciate what our club has to offer!

Nice to see a bit of commitment from some of the players and if he is going to carry on scoring regularly then he is more than welcome to hang around!
