Samba resolution needed... and soon

The Chris Samba dispute could get worse before it gets better with Steve Kean admitting that the player is perfectly healthy and available to play but without a clear mind.

Samba chucked all the available toys at his disposal out of the pram in order to get a move back in January but it never materialised and the Guardian newspaper is even suggesting that the Rovers board could take legal action against Samba for a potential 'breach of contract'.

Whether that holds any water is for someone far more intelligent than me to decide but Kean clarified that he wants a resolution and the sooner the better.

Kean told Sky Sports - 'Without going too deep he's fit and he's available for selection but I've decided not to put him in the squad.

'It's a situation we'd like to get resolved as soon as possible because I think the way we are just now is not really helpful for anybody - us or him.

'He's one of our key defenders and you always miss any player when they're not available.'

Time for Samba to man up and accept he is needed... Pathetic from both sides of the argument that it's come to this.

Hard to sell him when we got no offers! (I'm not counting the pitance QPR said as that doesn't count!)

Completely with FriedelNo.1 on this.No offers after the transfer request and only two offers were far below realistic valuation and from a relegation rival not somewhere he can take step up to. He thinks more of himself than any clubs do clearly.Sort your head out, play well and maybe someone will want you in summer if you perform, cause at moment no one will the way he is behaving.Armband defo has to be taken from him as well!

afterall, samba was the one who signed the extension and he must share part of the blame for not figuring what venky is truly made of...it's only fair for him to at least play out the season.

But I thought Samba was allowed to value himself?!

you guys have a tough one on your hands.....should have told whoever wanted him to up the offer and bought someone else or taken bassong on loan...his ego has taken control of his head ...
