'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Talking about other team's players Harry?

One day, medical researchers are going to be able to explain to us the phenomenon of Harry Redknapp, Tottenham Hotspur manager.

Time and time again he has reminded the press that he 'doesn't talk about other teams players as that wouldn't be fair'.

Good call Harry, you're absolutely right that is a bit out of order, best just leave it at that then?

Oh wait, hang on just a second what's this...

Redknapp told Sky Sports - 'I like Samba, he is a good player, I wouldn't want to say it's an impossibility.

'At the moment he belongs to Blackburn but he's a good player.'

The Monday morning smell of bullshit is back and we didn't even need our own manager to bring it to us.

How thoughtful of you Harry.

Trouble is, when you're struggling near the bottom of the league, the predators circle and grab your best players, and your owners smell a profit and sell them.

@Mikey

A question was posed to 'arry in a press conference, to which he gave an honest answer. The problem as I see it is that when the press then report of those comments, they choose only the bits that they want from it. Harry did also say that he has not inquired about Samba (or Hoilett) and that Steve Kean would not want to sell.

Would you rather Harry lied, when asked what he thought of Samba's ability, and stated that he was 'pony' and that he would never get anywhere near the Spurs first team?
molesy
@molesy - fair point but Harry has been round long enough to know that his comments would be edited/wangled etc. Furthermore the point is he can't say his feelings strongly on the matter one minute and then change his mind as and when it suits him without some sort of question being raised...

Harry is renowned for doing this, and its very distasteful. However actually reading what he said, he hasnt actually said anything wrong on thsi occasion has he? He was asked and said yes hes a good player, but he plays for Blackburn. Anyways makes a change from an anti Steve Kean article so i guess you could put this down as progress.

Ah yes buthave you ever heard of planting the seed in a players mind? What he says may not "technically" be wrong but it is talking about a player that isn't your own when really when asked he could have just said - "he's not my player, I can't talk about him".

Harry can't keep his fu(king mouth shut and contradicts himself more than the bible.
