The fight over Paul Clement's future

Rovers manager Steve Kean could have one more problem on his very large plate with the news that his assistant Paul Clement is a wanted man.

French side Paris Saint Germain recently appointed Carlo Ancelotti to manage their club and he is very keen on bringing in his former charge Paul Clement who worked with the smiley man at Chelsea.

Performances have generally been more acceptable at Rovers with Clement in place of former assistant John Jensen even results have still been poor so losing Clement could be seen as something of a blow and finding a replacement will be seen as a distraction to the main event of adding to the playing staff.

So Paul Clement faces the choice of going to sunnier weather, higher wages and top of the table football or staying in the freezing cold, having a set of fans that are up in arms and a relegation scrap.

Doesn't sound great does it?!

We all wanted Ancelotti ;) ha ha. But I think there was a clause that meant he couldn't manage in England for a certain period of time.

Well he's not been at Ewood for long enough to feel any sense of owing anyone at the club anything. If I were him, I'd be off.

It's buy one get one free i'm afraid. So they buy Clement and get Kean free. If only.

Better hope Anderson has another assistant manager on his books.
