Numbers thin for Old Trafford trip

Rovers are still suffering from a major injury hangover as they take on their second daunting away trip in five days tomorrow.

The main problem still lies in defence with Paul Robinson and four defenders still unavailable meaning that the inexperienced back line which bravely battled to a point at Anfield last time out will lined up again at Manchester United.

Martin Olsson, Junior Hoilett and David Dunn could all still make the clash but are rated at 50/50.

Good news is provided however by the news of Gael Givet's return to training after a heart scare at Sunderland a few weeks back. No word on when he will be fit for selection but great news that he is healthy again.

Blackburn to choose from - Bunn, Samba, Lowe, Hanley, Nzonzi, Rochina, Pedersen, Petrovic, Dunn, Hoilett, Olsson, Yakubu, Goodwillie, Formica, Roberts, Vukcevic, Slew, Blackman, Henley, Morris, Kean.

And for those wondering that is Jake Kean on the squad sheet not Steve Kean. Even he's not daft enough to put himself up for selection ;)
