'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Andrews repeats desire to stay away

On-loan Rovers midfielder Keith Andrews has reiterated his desire to move away from Ewood Park but admits he has no idea what will happen due to current chaos at Ewood Park.

Andrews has been in fine form in the Championship for Ipswich since moving on a temporary basis to East Anglia back in August and due to the barrage of boos he received from fans during his time in the Premier League it comes as very little shock he doesn't see his future in blue and white halves.

Andrews told the Lancashire Telegraph when asked if he wants to return - "I don`t want to, if I`m being completely honest.'

"There is certainly interest from other clubs, it`s a little bit hazy at the moment because Blackburn is in a little bit of disarray at the moment.

"We don`t know what way it`s going to go and if there`s going to be a manager change, who knows?

"As it stands I`ll be going back after the game against Forest. But I would imagine I will be moving on somewhere in January."

It's a shame it has come to this as although Andrews is not really up to Premier League standards if we are to be relegated and need a workhorse midfielder who would fit the bill?

A certain Irish midfielder.

I am sure he will be off either permanently or until the summer as soon as he can sort himself something out... that might take the full month though knowing the current admin process at the club!!!

Would you play for Rovers again, everytime your name was read out and booed? I don't blame him for not wanting to come back to be honest. Watch him if we play against him next season run us ragged.

Andrews is better than folk give him credit for... he's not a Premier League player but when he did play he gave it all, which i admired ... if some of the other players could ie: Dunn !!!

Decent Championship player - if he wants to stay at Ipswich and the clubs can sort something out that suits everybody, then fair enough. But at the same time, yes, he is actually the type of player we might need sometime soon. Which is both a shame and really kind of terrifying.
