Jensen clueless over exit

Axed Rovers assistant manager John Jensen has spoken out against his very abrupt Rovers exit.

Jensen was released from his position as Steve Kean's assistant over a month ago without any real public warning and mystery has surrounded his departure ever since.

But for those who like their gossip and information they may feel a bit short changed by the former Arsenal and Denmark midfielder here... as even he hasn't been told the full reason for his unemployment.

Jensen told the Lancashire Telegraph - "You expect to get an explanation but there has been no explanation from the club. One day we might get to know the truth.

"The firing was a shock for me. I still don`t know why I was fired but the main reason must be the results. When you don`t get good results it`s a risk that you`ll get sacked.

"I am free of Blackburn.

"We have made an agreement that means that I can do whatever I feel like.

"It took some time, yes, but we ended up with an agreement. I can`t tell you any details."

People being fired for poor performance at Rovers? Does that still happen?

It will be a good day when we do learn what happened here!

So in otherwords he has signed a confidentiality agreement for constructive dismissal and had a payout. With the abruptness of this action it could be anything - may not even be results based

To be fair since Paul Clement has come in performances have picked up but we all know the main reason for our dire string of results.

my initial thinking was that either Kean had a problem with him or that he wasnt rated by the players or liked by the board. unless the owners have unshakable faith in Steve Kean, you would think that if it was a results decision the manager would have gone as well.
