Yes! Benni is a good signing

Vital Blackburn`s most recent Poll asked you "Is Benni McCarthy a good signing For Blackburn Rovers?" Most of you would certainly agree he is.

74% of you are more than happy with his arrival. His track record at International and Champions League level make you believe he has proven quality.

If you could be asked again at Christmas 16% of you would. Maybe some need a bit of time to check him out and see what he is like before committing one way or another.

Some of you were not as convinced 10% of you worry that he may cause problems. Maybe you feel he will sulk possibly throwing his toys out of the pram if he is not getting things his way?

It appears that the majority, almost three quarters in fact are more than happy with his arrival though.

Hopefully I`ll have an image of Benni shortly so his face can be seen when he is mentioned. We may have to make do with South African International strip until something Rovers comes along though.

So in summary
Yes, proven quality - 74%
No, temperamental, maybe problematic - 10%
Undecided, ask me again at Christmas - 16%

HE'S MADE A GOOD ENOUGH START TO HIS ROVERS CAREER SO LETS HOPE HE KEEPS IT UP. AT A MERE 2.5M HE COULD PROVE A BARGAIN

he was a very good signing, at a decent price two, can see him scoring a few goals for you this season

I'M SURE HE WILL, WILL SOON PAY BACK HIS SMALL FEE

Benni has a bit to prove but I think anyone that has come through the Ajax ranks will have something about them. For the price I think he will be as good as Bellamy was for the club, the money Hughes got for Bellamy has been used well, I really like the looks of Roberts, folk forget he scored as many goals as Bellamy last season
Clint
WITHOUT DOUBT, YOU DON'T PLAY FOR A TEAM LIKE AJAX, ESPECIALLY FRESH OUT OF AFRICA IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING ABOUT YOU. ROBERTS IS A SUPERB FOOTBALLER, VERY UNDERATTED BUT VERY PROLIFIC. THE PAIR TOGETHER WILL MORE THAN COMPENSATE FOR BELLAMY'S LOSS.
